In November 2023 we officially opened doors to our new home studios in West Oakland! We are humbled and strengthened by the support of our local community in creating a space for dance, innovation and belonging. Read below to learn more!
“BANDALOOP has performed in over 35 countries, and been seen by millions. But we first and foremost consider ourselves members of the Oakland community. This new 8,000 square foot home is not only for our dancers to train and rehearse, but also for our community in West Oakland. Here we plan to share our work with the public, and collaborate with other cultural institutions, civic entities, schools, community organizations, and major corporations, to expand our public programs, as well as offer team building experiences, and of course, continue to create transformative art.” ”
