BANDALOOP returned earlier this month to Yosemite to film their latest project. Coyote Waltz navigates and explores the Native American myth of the trickster coyote to create dances for mountain stages for the National Park Centennial. Using Yosemite as a visually arresting stage, this major new site-reactive work reimagines waltz and illuminates the beauty, vulnerability and complexity of organic systems in the wild.

NEW! Young Loop Weekly 8-Week Series
September 14 – October 26, 2016
This new series provides young dancers a chance to regularly ascend into a fun and challenging practice of BANDALOOP’s signature style of dance. From a foundation of safety and equipment training, the workshop will activate BANDALOOP Studio’s dance walls, trampoline wall, and low flying floor space with fun and rigorous dancing. Age appropriate lessons include harness movement fundamentals, creative process, and more advanced work (wall running, flipping, extended air time, partnering). All gear will be supplied. The workshop culminates in an informal showing.
